The Austin ride is being put on by volunteers for Refugee Services of
Texas - Austin branch
(http://www.refugeeservicesoftexas.org/Austin.html) as a fundraiser
for services for refugees, immigrants, and victims of human
trafficking. We are in search of riders, and people interested in
starting teams and fundraising.
Riders of all stripes are invited to attend, and we are even
recruiting refugee riders to participate, one of whom is a

Now in its 8th year, Spokes 'n Spurs continues to be a premiere cycling event in the Texas Hill country, offering participants new reasons to ride in 2012. Benefitting Spirit Reins Ranch, the ride offers participants of all ages and skill levels a choice of several different distances while enjoying the rolling hills and wildlife that abounds along the entire course.
Spokes'n Spurs offers exceptional support for riders including full SAG, rest stop and mechanical support; with medical staff located at each rest stop and the start/finish. Additionally, the entire route is patrolled by a Motorcycle Special Events Team and ride marshals from the BP MS150.

McCormick's Creek State Park and Canyon Inn will host our June Touring Ride in Rural Indiana Rally in 2012. Enjoy two half-days (with loops of 25-30 miles) and two full days (with loops of 50-80+ miles) from McCormick's Creek State Park, twelve miles west of the lively university town of Bloomington. RAINSTORM™ offers an intensive week of cycling for riders preferring longer distances. Each day's route is approximately 100 miles, and there are no layover days.
RAINSTORM™ travels over hard-surfaced back roads in southern Indiana. Terrain ranges from rolling to hilly; expect to be challenged. Lodging in Indiana State Park inns (three nights) and nice hotels (two nights) is included in the tour fee. All accommodations offer comfortable beds, air conditioning, and free WiFi.
Four breakfasts and three dinners are included; menus are carefully planned for sound nutrition and variety, and include options for vegetarian and diabetic participants. At the Indiana State Park Inns, buffets are served in the inn dining rooms. Dinners in Bloomington and Terre Haute (carbo loading the night before RAIN™) are on your own.

September Escapade™ (also known as "SE") will guide you to the scenic and historic sites of southeastern Indiana, with overnights at three state parks: Brown County (one night), Spring Mill (two nights), and Clifty Falls (two nights). Routes use rural, hard-surfaced roads, with stops in small towns for services. Terrain ranges from rolling to hilly with some challenging hills. Ridership is limited to 250 participants.
September Escapade offers a choice of inn lodging or tent camping at all three state parks. Indiana State Park Inns are modern and well-appointed, with high quality linens, comfortable furniture, air conditioning, and free WiFi.
Expect to ride an average 75 miles on the days we travel to a new state park. Two layover days offer two or three loop rides, or free time to explore the park instead.
